Anusol HC Suppositories Information

Anusol HC Suppositories

Anusol HC Suppositories are prescribed to reduce or treat swelling, itching, and discomfort associated with certain rectal conditions, including hemorrhoids.

You can purchase Anusol HC online from Canada Pharmacy.

Directions

You have to use the medication in the rectum as directed by your physician, usually 2 or 3 times daily. The dosage and duration of treatment are based on your medical condition. Avoid having a bowel movement for at least an hour, so the medication has time to work.

Wash your hands after each use. Use this medication regularly as prescribed to get the most benefits from it. Do not use more of the medication, use it more often, or use it for longer than prescribed.

Ingredients

Each suppository contains zinc sulfate monohydrate 10 mg, hydrocortisone acetate 10 mg in a triglyceride base.

The nonmedicinal ingredients include magnesium stearate, calcium phosphate, propylparaben, methylparaben, and triglyceride base.

Cautions

Before using hydrocortisone, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it, or to other corticosteroids or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.

Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history. Limit alcoholic beverages while using this medication to decrease the risk of stomach/intestinal bleeding.

Avoid having immunizations, vaccinations, or skin tests without consulting your physician. Avoid contact with people who have recently been vaccinated.

This drug can make you more likely to get infections or may worsen any current infections. Avoid contact with people who have infections that may spread to others.

During pregnancy, this medication should be used only when clearly needed and not for extra periods.
