Chemical Name BETAXOLOL (be-TAX-oh-lol)

Betoptic S (Betaxolol)

Betoptic medicine is used specifically for treating your eyes due to open-angle glaucoma. Open-angle glaucoma is a phenomenon in which the drainage canals of the eyes become clogged over a certain period of time which in turn leads to the development of high pressure in the internal part of the eye, thus, damaging your optic nerve. Betoptic eye drops

is essentially a beta blocker that helps to minimize pressure build-up in your eyes. You can buy Betoptic from Canada Pharmacy.

Directions

You should use Betoptic eye drops strictly per your doctor’s guidelines and prescription. Do not use Betoptic when you have contact lenses on as this medicine contains a preservative that dissolves into soft tissue. Also, wait until 15 minutes before wearing your lenses after using Betoptic. Be sure to wash your hands before using Betoptic.

To use Betoptic, bend back your head and pull away your lower eyelid gently with your finger. Hover the dropped above your eye and squeeze a drop into your eye. Close your eye while lightly pressing your finger inside the corner of your eye thus preventing the medicine from going into your tear duct.

Repeat the same process with your other eye. However, wait 5 minutes if you squeeze more than one drop in your eye. Also, avoid touching the dropper so as not to contaminate it and inform your doctor before using the drops if you have had surgery.
