Description

Human chorionic gonadotropin is a hormone produced by the placenta during pregnancy. The use in bodybuilding leads to an increase in testosterone secretion and prevents testicular atrophy. In addition, gonadotropin stimulates spermatogenesis and accelerates the development of the genitals.

Instruction
The drug is taken to prevent testicular atrophy while taking a course of steroids. At the same time, the accumulated muscle mass is preserved, and the function of the testicles remains normal. Moreover, taking the drug allows you to avoid a number of side effects that occur while taking steroids.

It is especially important to take gonadotropin after a course of high-dose steroids or a course of more than 6 weeks. From the second week, two injections per week of 250-500 IU should be done.

HCG gonadotropin (Magnyl 5000) Chorionic gonadotropin is an injectable intramuscular drug that is rapidly absorbed. The effect of the injection lasts 5-6 days. With courses lasting about a year, it should be taken constantly, taking a week break every month.

In the composition of post-cycle therapy, gonadotropin is included less often.

The use of the drug as an anabolic is impractical, since to obtain the effect, it is necessary to take at least 4000 IU of the drug per week, which can lead to irreversible changes in the body.

Side Effects
Excessive dosage can lead to the same side effects as when taking testosterone. The main one is a violation of the main function of the hypothalamus-pituitary-testicles axis.
