Chemical Name OLMESARTAN (ole-me-SAR-tan)

BENICAR is a prescription medication that is indicated to lower blood pressure and improve blood flow. It belongs to a group of drugs called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. BENICAR works by blocking the action of certain chemicals that tighten the blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more smoothly.

Directions

It is viral to take BENICAR exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take in excess or fewer amounts unless your doctor changes your dose to ensure you get optimal results. BENICAR can be taken with or without food.
