Trulicity (Dulaglutide) is a prescription medication for lowering blood sugar and commonly prescribed for people with Type 2 diabetes.

It is an injected medication that works to prevent kidney damage and other poor health conditions that are linked to unchecked high blood sugar. It can also prevent cardiovascular events like heart attack or stroke. It is usually prescribed along with doctor recommendation for a diet and exercise program to blood sugar most effectively.

Inject medication under the skin in the thigh, abdomen, or upper arm as directed by your doctor, and the standard Trulicity dosage is one injection a week.

The active ingredient in Trulicity is Dulaglutide.

Inform your doctor of any history of kidney disease, pancreatitis, stomach or intestinal disorders like gastroparesis, or eye problems like diabetic retinopathy before starting with Trulicity.

Medication may cause temporarily blurred vision, dizziness, or drowsiness because of extremely low or high blood sugar. Driving or using machinery may be inadvisable until your vision stabilizes.

Limit alcohol consumption while using Trulicity pens.

The possibility of drug interaction risk exists between Trulicity (Dulaglutide) and other  medications, and beta-blocker medications most notably, including metoprolol, propanol, and timolol. It may be possible that other drugs pose interaction risks too, and so it’s always advisable to tell your doctor of all medications you are currently taking before getting a prescription and proceeding to buy Trulicity.

Side Effects

Trulicity side effects are rare, but some people may experience nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, decrease appetite, tiredness, or weakness. If Trulicity side effects are experienced, you should discontinue use of the medication and speak with your doctor again regarding blood sugar lowering medication options.
