Lotemax eye drops contain a substance called Loteprednol. This chemical belongs to the family of medicines known as corticosteroids, often simply known as steroids. The medication is used to treat different types of eye conditions such as conjunctivitis due to inflammation or injury. It may also be used after eye surgery for a short period of time. It helps relieve inflammation, redness and irritation, swelling, itching, and other similar symptoms in the eyes.

Directions
Ensure that your hands are washed and free of any impurities before using the medication. Shake the bottle well before putting a drop into the eye and repeating the same in the other if required. You can be as frequent with the application as your doctor’s prescription. Ingredients
Lotemax eye drops contain Loteprednol Etabonate 5 mg (0.5%) as well as edetate disodium, glycerin, povidone, purified water and tyloxapol.

Cautions
The following need to be considered when using Loteprednol:
